A true American pilgrimage site. American environmentalism was born in the mind of thorough, but he brought it to life here. A wonderfully beautiful place. The visitor center is great. The replica cabin is perfect. I rented a bike share bike at the Concord Visitor center and didn’t have to worry about parking. It’s a nice 20 min ride. The bikes can be locked, so no need to worry about that. You should bring a small towel and wade ankle-deep to feel the water. The town of Concord is a great place to end the day.

The parking fee is absurd: 30 for out of state visitors! Park at the bookstore, cross the street, take your pictures and look at the pond for 10 minutes, and walk back.
