In January, it’s serene place, with calm water, few visitors. We enjoyed our time here for some hiking on the trails and tranquil time on the lake access platforms.

Quite place with nice trails and a number of boardwalks to view the lake. Stopped here while on a road trip and Charlotte was on staff at the headquarters. She was extremely helpful answering questions about other state parks in the area, camping, and directions. Thanks Charlotte!!
