We visited last week, the beginning of the tourist season. The lake was frozen. , A charming, spectacular place that stands out in its beauty. A must visit, a comfortable walk of about 30 minutes to the lake

The views are spectacular. Had a great visit to Crno Jezero, and a lovely walk around half of the lakes until the ‘Dangerous Trail’ sign stopped us in our tracks. However, like a lot of places in Montenegro, seems that littering is rife and uncontrolled at present. This does detract from the experience. At 10 euros to visit per person, and 6 euros to park your car, I’d suggest that some of that income is spent on people who either control people littering or pick up the litter in the national park.
