There is a paved path as well as separate paths throughout the woods. While we were there we came across three rock climbers. Lots of bicyclists and hikers.

Nice trail along the lake! Lots of spots to get closer to the water. We took our dog, and he loved the lake water breaks. The parking lot was pretty large and had plenty of room to park. There was a portable (porta-john) bathroom available at the time we went and a trash can.

Great little hike along the lake edge .. do not go into the state park itself, turn off to the left before the state park entrance and drive about 1 mile and then you will find a small parking lot. The entrance to the trail is a small paved foot path to begin with and then turns to dirt. It's very easy to walk it. 30 min will get you about 1/2 way up the back side of the lake.
