One of the best hikes in Custer! We did this trail with 6 kids and they all loved it. Lots of big rocks to climb, plenty to explore, lots of elevation changes. Highly recommend! Parking can get a little tight at Sylvan lake. Arrive early. Bathrooms available near the parking lot.

Fun trail. But we came during annual motorcycle event and good part of trail is close to the highway so it got really loud.
