The waterfall was beautiful, but it's definitely more of a drive-by, don't make this your destination. There's no safe parking or safe access to the waterfall (no trail). It's right off of a winding road and I would have checked it out better, but I had my 5 month old with me. 4 stars for beauty, 0 stars for accessibility. This really doesn't deserve it's own Google listing, it's more something you just get really excited to see on your drive.

Park above the falls! You can spot the falls on the left as you wind UP, then turn around and park in a small pull-off just above them coming back down. The fall itself is gorgeous. It is slightly difficult to spot as the road curves, and you have to park right off the road in a curve and then walk the guardrail and scoot down a fairly steep bank to the stream. Not ideal with kiddos, but still worth it for a quick stop and photo op on a homeschool "caves and falls" adventure.

Limited parking and not marked, so keep your eyes out. There’s a small waterfall, but it is pretty. It is right off the road.

Straight Branch Falls is a nice 20-foot roadside waterfall along US-58 just 6 miles east of Damascus. I don't know where the name Estella Falls came from. Parking is very limited. If heading west, there is a grassy area just before the guard rail to pull off. If heading east, best to pass and make a U-turn. You can walk behind the guard rail to see the waterfall or scramble down to the creek. Worth a quick stop if in the area.
