It was gorgeous & relaxing, and a joy at Thatch Caye. The staff was terrific - William, Luis, Anivar, Daniel, Evilio, & chef Janine, the "behind the scenes" staff, as well as Brian on the mainland, and Charles & crew piloting the boat, all made my stay a top-tier experience. I took full advantage of other people's excursions, leaving me to explore the entire island a couple of times during my stay. The weather benefits Thatch Caye's being in a sweet spot - clouds hug the mainland, and lurk out beyond Bird Island - leaving days sunny, with light winds and idyllic evenings. Overnight, clouds may touch the sky... Thatch Caye is a charming, eco-luxury stay. If excursions are your thing - you're in the right place. If you're enticed by basking in beautiful days, the ocean, blue skies & moonlit nights - it's there. A beautiful setting with a tremendous staff and access to whatever adventures you desire.

An amazing experience. The staff is friendly, kind, helpful, and make the trip. The food is local and fresh be prepared to eat seafood but they can accommodate most requests. The rooms are the perfect size and the views are unbelievable. Dining is with the other guests and engaging with other travels helped make this experience extra special.

Amazing stay! We loved every moment of it and wished we could stay longer. Staff were wonderful and attentive, food was great for every meal, drinks are great, and the location is beautiful. Can’t wait to come back. Be sure to stop by the Star Fish bar during happy hour and try Kiki’s old fashioned.

They're good people. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to come here due to my visa problem. Also my card has expired during the process and couldn't get refund back, but it's kind they are saying they will send depsit money back using check. I'm waiting for it. I will use that next opportunity to visit you.

The food was phenomenal, the island was phenomenal, and the staff that assisted us, especially Shakira and Monique were 5 Stars plus. I would highly recommend, Thatch Caye as well their management company Muy Ono. We no issues and our air-conditioning froze us.
