This is an excellent camp ground. The facilities are clean and easy to use. There is a bit of highway noise, but not bad considering the location of the campground. A hike to the top of pulpit rock is recommended.

I spent the night here and was not impressed. The bathrooms and showers were gross. Hair all over the showers and only a curtain between you and all the other bathroom users. The tent camping spaces are very close together with no clear boundaries between them. Also a long walk to the bathrooms from the tent spot. Don’t love that you can’t be near your car, but knew that when booking the site. The balls at the bball court were all flat. It felt like this camp ground could use some tlc and slight updating. I won’t even go into the rude and loud neighbors literally feet from our tent blasting music till midnight 🙄. I will say being on the river was beautiful and we loved Decorah. This campground was not it though. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and only stayed for 1.

Our favorite place to stay when we visit Decorah. Clean facilities, well kept grounds, very nice staff. Tent camping or RV, this spot is worth a stay!
