A gem of Texas State, not to be missed, although not as famous and not as massive as other NPs, it’s worth a visit even on a windy day. You’re stepping a million years history to largest reef fossil in the world. It is amazing to think that this mountain range was once submerged in water during Permean Period! Plus, this is the place to hike the roof of Texas!
