I went last week before the smoke from the wildfires reached our part of the state. The incline in the beginning is tough, but the views and wildlife were worth it! The waterfall is pretty, but be prepared for the path down (and the intense leg day back up) to get to the actual viewing spot. It's the only part of the trail that I used poles for leverage. This loop was no joke, but it wasn't strenuous. Bring LOTS of sunscreen and water!

I biked the trail, and hiked down so it was pretty easy to get to. 06/10/2025 the falls were flowing pretty magically the mist felt magical on a 80 degree day. On the way in it is pretty magical up above the falls also with the rocks

Nice challenging hike to the falls!! There’s lot bikers/trail runners so just been on the look out and move to the side. I recommend wearing hiking boots.
