Absolutely amazing but a 6 mile walk each direction through some boggy ground but easily doable in boots ....not a place to take kids as some very high hidden drops....i would highly reccomend this as it is definately my favourite place to visit on skye and i have pretty much done everything here ...i also reccomend getting the wild skye boat ride to see the Maidens from the sea ...you can catch the boat at the dock opposite talisker distillery .10/10

Long path (8.5 km one way) that is reasonably passable. Sometimes a bit boggy, but the final view is phenomenal.

Decent walk over mostly good paths (with some boggy areas). We were lucky with the weather (sunny but cold and ‘breezy’) - well worth the trip for the views of the maidens and across to the cuillins
