Climbing this mountain was one of the most beautiful experiences of my entire life. I was unprepared. Had never been in the Rockies. I went alone. Didn't bring enough water. I ran out of food because I shared half of it with a squirrel that I befriended who traveled with me 2/3 the way up. I went off trail. Waaay off trail. Climbed up the glacier like an idiot with absolutely no gear. Didn't pay heed to warnings about altitude, and decided to parkour on boulders coming back down in an excited stupor despite being far from help if I injured myself. And I yearn to go back. Every... Single... Day. If there's a heaven, it must look like this. ❤️

Beautiful mountain to hike. Very easy walk up and probably can be accomplished in an afternoon with flip flops. Don't even bother bringing water. Low risk of adverse weather most of the time.
