About This Adventure Destination

Rendezvous Bay, located on the lush island of Antigua in the Caribbean, offers one of the most tranquil and beautiful beach experiences in the region. Known for its serene setting and picturesque landscapes, this hidden gem is surrounded by rolling green hills and clear azure waters. Unlike busier beaches on the island, Rendezvous Bay remains largely untouched, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The beach stretches out in a crescent of soft white sand, bordered by vibrant turquoise water that invites relaxation and exploration. Unique flora such as the tropical mangrove forests flanking the bay add an enchanting natural element to this pristine area.

Adventure enthusiasts will also enjoy its diverse geological features, including rocky outcrops perfect for light hiking and exploration. The bay's history adds an intriguing dimension, with legends of early settlers using this hidden cove as a sheltered landing point. Today, it offers a quiet oasis away from the bustling tourist spots, allowing visitors to soak in the natural beauty and bask in its untouched splendor. Rendezvous Bay's remote location makes it a standout destination for visitors looking to experience the pure, unspoiled charm of Antigua's coastline.

The sand is the softest I’ve ever experienced! It’s pretty wavy but if you can swim fine, this is a lovely spot ☺️

A must-see and absolutely enjoyable. If you're driving, you'll need a 4x4; otherwise, it's a 40-minute walk.

Rendezvous Bay is that large expanse of open waters between Falmouth Harbour and Carlisle Bay at the Southern portion of Antigua. There are several beaches in the Bay, the most famous being Rendezvous Bay Beach. The Bay is almost a bight and it is a rich fishing ground and many other offshore and on shore activities are practiced there also. The picturesque coastline dotted with beaches, headlands and hillside with cacti and rocks and other coastal formations are also features of this bay as well. There are dwelling houses and villas overlooking the bay and enjoying the scenic views as well. Witnessing a spectacular Sunset fover this Bay is quite breathtaking. Vessels of various types traverse these waters and the area is quite colourful from all of the participants of the annual Sailing Week, other vessels are seen as well during the various seasons. Rendezvous Bay is a good place from which neighbouring Montserrat and the volcano can be seen on a clear day. Hiking along the coastal regions and many other interesting activities are done in this area of the island. I totally recommend a visit for a sort or prolonged period in this area.

Amazing coastline with panoramic views, sheltered and untouchable with lushly green vegetation covered from mountain top to coastline. Our rendezvous.
