Highly recommend, i was hoping to stop here on a sunny day, but it was awesome on the day i stopped, water was high from snow melt, absolutely indescribible for the sounds of the water, beautiful place!

I recently stayed at one of the cabins(Economy) in Babcock State Park, and it was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in the middle of the mountains, the location is absolutely stunning. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, with just the right balance of rustic charm and comfort. The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, making it a great spot for families or small groups. While the bathroom was on the smaller side, it was clean and functional, which worked just fine for our needs. The amenities were well thought out, from the fire pit for evening gatherings to the picnic table for outdoor meals. It was a joy to sit outside, take in the fresh mountain air, and soak up the natural beauty around the cabin. Overall, the cabin offered a wonderful blend of comfort and the great outdoors. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind, connect with nature, and create lasting memories. I can’t wait to visit again!

Really great state park! Camped here two nights while visiting New River Gorge. Clean bathhouse and hot showers. Our site was spacious, as are most of the sites in the campground. The campground is very well kept and clean!! Besides the campground, we visited the grist mill, and there is also plenty of hiking to be done in the park. Do not skip checking this place out. it's a great park to visit while in the area. Will definitely visit and stay again if ever in the area!
