We went on a hot weekday in August 2026 so it was definitely not crowded. The camp seems well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I gave them 5 Stars because I know it is usually really pretty, however, they have been in a drought, so the waterfall wasn't flowing, the lake was way down, the creek was dry in places, and the area below the dam was a mud hole. If you are planning on a one-time trip to Devil's Den, I would recommend calling them first to be sure you go when the creek is flowing. It's still a beautiful area, but I will definitely call ahead next time. Be prepared for a very winding road, but to me that is part of the fun.
