Tropical Paradise: Felidhoo Bikini Beach

A simple yet breathtakingly beautiful place, Bikini Beach on Felidhoo island feels like a secret whispered by the sea. Nestled between swaying palms and the open embrace of the Indian Ocean, it offers a sense of intimacy — almost as if the beach exists just for you. The atmosphere is minimal, with a few sunbeds and umbrellas, but nothing distracts from the natural beauty. The shore is lined with soft sand and framed by palm trees whose fronds dance gently in the breeze. Just steps into the water, a vibrant coral reef awaits. The sea bursts into life with schools of vividly colored fish weaving through corals, painting a living mosaic beneath the surface. Snorkeling here is like slipping into a dream. And when you look up, the horizon stretches endlessly—ocean and sky blending into one seamless canvas of blue. It’s not a place full of luxury, but rather a serene haven where simplicity and nature create their own kind of paradise.

Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

Pretty little nice beach (bikini beach in such muslim country means you can were western swimware but no topless ladies) with plenty of shadow under several coconut trees. There are also sun chairs for the pleasure of all. The sand is bright white and the water cristal clear, shallow for about 10 to 30 m long, with many proken corals and other little rocks (watch out where you step while entering the water). As soon as in the water... several fishes are around... go by the reef and follow its edge toward west... you will end up in a "pool" of fishes, coral and sea life is crazy! Absolutely mind blowing snorkeling in here 😍😍 Don't be surprised to see a few mantas passing by, even shark (nurse mostly but we also saw 1 little white tip). Pay attention to the current though. Depending on the tide, it can be pretty strong both ways. During our 1 week stay, we almost had the beach for yourselves... some locals came in the morning, then a couple of italians on the last days. Perfect place to disconnect from the busy world and enjoy the quiet, beautiful and relaxing beach.

One of the best beaches i have seen. It is very near, very clean, no intervention by locals. Both sunset and sunrise are visible on this beach. The corals near the beach are so pretty, that i ended up snorkelling for 3-4 hours. The best time to come here is Nov-Feb. It gets too hot after Feb.
