I drove 3 hours to Arizona Snowbowl only to find out the entire mountain was closed due to high winds—something they could’ve easily notified me about since they had my number. Instead, I showed up and was basically told to go home. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. All the staff there were clearly high as a kite and did not seem to care when myself and other skiers tried to talk to them.

You will love this place if you want a chill vibe. The employees are so nice and accommodating, especially for kids getting on ski lifts. When we went it was all fake snow but it was great and the weather was perfect. If you get lessons and have kids, request Owen. He was amazing with my child!

If i could, I would give this place 0 stars. A sad excuse for a ski resort. Theyre destroying that mountain.

Purchased tickets online to ski and stay overnight in the lodge. Flew out of town from Florida to spend one day skiing here when I arrived I’m told that I will not given the tickets till 4 pm after I check in. Keep in mind that the slopes close at 4 pm so I would only be able to use it the next day. I asked to speak to the managers who told me there’s nothing they can do. When I go to speak with the staff at base camp they charged my card $150 without my authorization. Also need to point out at the lodging look run down and not how it is on the website.

Awful experience. This place is not friendly to new comers whatsoever. It’s the kinda place where if you get it you get it if you don’t then oh well. Stayed at the High Country Motor Lodge and got a discount for the gondola ride. I was super excited to visit the snowball for the first time & see the beautiful view. Got to the front of the ticket stand where they told me to go into the shop, purchase a pass then activate the pass on my phone. So I did. Spent a lot of money for two passes then asked for directions to the gondola rides. I was then sent to TWO different areas before finding the correct lot to then be told that the gondola rides were closed due to winds since 9a.m. As to why this wasn’t disclosed when I purchased my tickets at noon I’m not sure. Anyways they then opened them back up about 30 minutes later. I get in line to then be told I PURCHASED THE WRONG PASSES. Mind you these are the passes I was told to purchase and even showed another person while asking for directions. After being run around for two whole hours I just decided to get a full refund and leave. Biggest waste of time ever and will NOT be going back. This was the worst part of our trip to Flagstaff.
