Greyrock is a wonderful, moderate hike to take in a variety of natural aromas, unbelievable scenery, and fresh air. The weather was ideal also, a light rain cooled us all off at the most ideal timing on the way back down the mountain. I love the rock formations and bouldering opportunities. It genuinely feels like free climbing at times as you near the summit, but it’s an engaging experience to be physically present yet so disconnected from day to day urban life.

It really is a great view from the top and a really rewarding hike. You start out in the trees but eventually after a while you get to see the rock face and all the people like ants on the top. It is moderately strenuous hike but doable for most everyone in average health. There is a little climbing at the end but the last part of the hike is the most scenic.

It is an absolutely beautiful hike! Parts of the trail have quite a few rocks and roots. The trail can be very hard to follow toward the top. Parking is limited - across the street and along the street edge. Bathroom by parking (no sinks).
