I loved this route. If the ground is dry it is quite easy. I haven't tried it on wet ground but those stones... you have to be careful in the throat if there is a lot of water or ice. Good footwear and appropriate clothing. If the weather is dry. With good footwear it is enough. The waterfall is very beautiful, for me it is even more spectacular than any place in this wonderful country is 🧡

A magnificent walk to the waterfall! Allow 30 minutes from the parking lot to the waterfall, or 1 hour if you take your time. There's a parking lot at the very end of the cul-de-sac: don't hesitate to check it out because if you stop earlier, you'll be walking quite a bit on the road... Be careful, the path to the waterfall is a bit technical in some places.

Well worth the walk. But you are better off parking at the first Lower Falls carpark, then walk the short distance to the start of the path to Steall Falls as people park in the No Parking pass points making it very difficult to navigate.
