I am giving this route 3 stars because of the view, but that is really about it. I read in earlier reviews that it costs a lot of money, and that is certainly the case. €10.50 for the route to Pico Ruivo (there were checks as well), we spent about €16 for 4.5 hours of parking, and the taxi back costs €20 per person. It is extremely touristy, and at various points along the route there are tissues lying around everywhere and a foul smell hangs in the air. It is a real shame when you pay so much for it. The view was beautiful, but I would consider whether it is worth it. I won't do it again.

Fizemos só a primeira parte. Uma vista muito bonita, vale a pena. Embora seja curto, não recomendo para quem tem medo de alturas ou vertigens.
