We saw an informational show around this sinkhole and wanted to do a nature excursion. Nature is a force no doubt now. What we noticed is many park goers were using the stairs to the bottom for an exercise and they have a bead counter at the top to log how many times you completed the steps. It is a challenge. But overall we saw some neat wildlife and enjoyed the walk. The website is informative.

Very nice, the rim trail is a short and shaded trail. Great for a slow walk with a senior dog. The walk down the steps to the ravine are steep, and there is no place to sit and not a lot of space at the view point. It’s a walk down the stairs and up again to see the view. The view is nice, but you cant sit and observe there, unfortunately. Overall, a nice area with easy parking and clearly defined trail with lots of butterflies, plants, and birds to enjoy.
