Phase 1 offers a challenge for beginner mtb. A LOT of roots, including a root garden, but this is Ohio. My friend and I have a goal of riding the entire loop from start to finish by end of summer. The reason we haven't completed it yet is due to time. Since I'm new to mountain biking, we tend to take things slow, and we just run out of time.

Very nice mountain bike park for beginners and pro's. Across the road from the parking lot is the beginners course and is well maintained. Very cool loop that I ride often. On the parking lot side the intermediate up to pro and suites all who have the right bike. I don't recommend anything over 28" rims with fat boy tires. I prefer a 26"" rim of any kind of tires. The park has porta potties and are very clean. It also is equipped with a tire pump and tools for your bike. It also has a donation box for the park. In addition I recommend bringing sanitizer because you'll need after using the outhouse. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ facility. I am there frequently and never met any rude people. All rider's are very courteous and respectful of fellow rider's. Check it out and have a great time..!!!🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴😁🚵 A few bonus photos from the Dayton Air force museum.. 🇺🇸🎖️🇺🇸✌️very cool, too.!!!

Good step up from the beginner trail. If your inexperienced try the beginner trails across the street before doing P1 or plan bail out options using the map at the entrance to the trail.
