We love Mammoth Hot Springs. It’s one of our favorite stops in all of Yellowstone. I always recommend that you hike down not up…have your driver drop everyone off at the tip and then the driver should meet everyone at the bottom near Liberty Cap. That’s the most efficient way to go about it.

It's almost always congested though this area. Be patient, park up in the lot past the springs and walk down. It's an incredible display of hot springs.
