Almost a perfect day trip destination. The gorge is easy to hike through. It often gets narrow due to oncoming traffic. The hiking trails are manageable for everyone.

Zur Höllentalklamm gibt es ja schon genügend Bilder und Rezensionen im Netz. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Zu beachten ist aus unserer Sicht aber Folgendes: Vom Parkplatz bis zum Eingang der Klamm (Kassenhäuschen) muss man erst einmal ca. 1 h durch den Wald wandern. Der Weg geht dabei stetig und ordentlich bergauf. Mit der Klamm schafft man alles kaum in 3 h. 3.5 bis 4 h würde ich schon einplanen. Festes Schuhwerk ist angebracht. Mit Adiletten sollte sich hier keiner auf den Weg nachen. Selbst Sportschuhe oder Sneaker sind nur suboptimal. In der Klamm wird es dann schnell kühl und nass. Mindestens eine Jacke ist empfohlen. In den Tunneln kann es auch feucht und glitschig werden und das Wasser kann auf den Wegen durch die Tunnel auch mal 2-4 cm hoch stehen. Normalerweise gehen die meisten hin und zurück durch die Klamm. Am Ende der Klamm kann man zwar auch den "Stangenpfad" zurück nehmen, dies ist aber ein schmaler Bergpfad mit sehr vielen "Stangen", also Pfählen die quer als Treppen im Weg eingebaut sind.

We never expected the Höllental Gorge to be so incredibly beautiful! We were truly amazed. It was very warm outside, around 28-29 degrees Celsius, and pleasantly cool inside the gorge. Walking through the small caves and tunnels while a little water trickled down from above was especially lovely. You almost feel like you're walking under small waterfalls. Simply stunning! The scenery and views along the way are also incredibly beautiful. We found the hike to be easy to moderate – perfectly manageable even with an 11-year-old. Our child had a great time and was just as thrilled as we were. We went as a whole family and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. A truly fantastic experience and a wonderful hike! We would love to come back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
