Together with my friends Paul, Albert, and Bret, and our guides Hendrik1, Hendrik2 (not his brother), and Kazan, we had 8 unforgettable days in the Surinamese hinterland on the Grand Rio near the Sintia Dam. The nights, the water, the food, the djogos, and the jungle with all its surprises, and being alone together, there with almost nothing. This is becoming my second place to miss.

Last summer, we had unforgettable days. Together with two other guides, Sensi showed us a lot of the jungle, plants, and animals on three hikes. Macaws, toucans, howler monkeys, many species of colorful toads, beautiful palm species, telephone tree... With beautiful views from the top of two mountains. The food was well catered for, including fish from the river. Swimming at the Sintia Dam was wonderful. Sleeping in the hammocks was an experience. And we always felt safe with these fantastic guides. Karel, Linda, and Mats
