Relaxation at Luminous Chiropractic

Neither my wife or I had any experience with chiropractors prior to our son’s birth. That’s why when our midwives suggested our 10-day-old son see a chiropractor, we were skeptical & hesitant. I called Dr. Zach, as that’s who our midwives recommended. He took time to answer all my questions, & we scheduled an initial appointment. He took the time to answer more questions & showed us how gently he’d be working on our son. So at less than two weeks old, our son had his first adjustment. After a few weeks of working with Zach, you could see his body start to relax more & be less tense. He’s now a happy 14-month-old, running around, climbing everything, & chasing our cats. If you’ve never experienced chiropractic care, like us, I recommend Dr. Zach at Luminous Chiropractic. I have also sent multiple adult clients to Dr. Zach from my fitness studio, & they have gotten great results too. So if you’re 10-days-old, or just a little older than that 😉, I’d recommend Dr. Zach & Luminous Chiropractic.

My family found out about Luminous through our doula after our newborn was born. Our doula suggested preventative chiropractic care to help our baby’s nervous system start off on the right foot / recover from the birthing process. The kindness Dr. Zach and his family showed us has been amazing. They have provided resources and overall have helped so much with navigating this new stage of life. I started to see Dr. Zach with my first pregnancy when I was having issues with symphysis pubis dysfunction (spd) and a few other pains in my back. In a short period of time he was able to help me get quite a bit of relief and helped me stay on top of it for the rest of my pregnancy. This experience made me a firm believer in chiropractic care during pregnancy (I recommend it to all pregnant mamas and always throw out his name)! So of course I started seeing him early in my second pregnancy. I never had any consistent pain or issues, and I firmly believe his chiropractic care played a role in that. I wasn’t able to get my first baby adjusted but I was able to when my first was a little older and we have been addressing issues that I firmly believe could have been helped or at least reduced if he was adjusted as an infant after birth. I did take my second child as an infant/baby and continue to get both of them adjusted with Dr. Zach. I believe it helps my kids immune system, sleep, digestion and so much more! He is very knowledgeable, gentle, and amazing with babies/kids/pregnant mamas and I couldn’t recommend him enough!!! Plus, from the moment my family has stepped through their doors at Luminous Chiropractic, they have treated us like family, with incredible kindness and humility. We give all glory to God for the blessings they have been in our lives.

I came to Luminous Chiropractic because I wanted someone who was specifically experienced with support throughout pregnancy. I felt so comfortable with the care, and knowledge of the pains I was experiencing as a result of my pregnancy. The specialized approach for providing care while pregnant was explained to me during the visit- I always knew what was being done and why. I'm glad I found such a personal provider and look forward to continuing my visits, even post-partum. This office is also one of the most family-friendly and happy spaces. Just great vibes all around!
