As of September 26 the roadworks are finished and the road is passable with any car. Both directions are open: you can enter through Grigorievka Gorge (Chon-Ak-Suu) and exit through Semenovskoye Gorge, or drive the route the other way around.

The Gorge is beautiful, but the road construction can cause some hussle. Along the road the are several places where you can stop, ride a horse and have a great lunch in a yurt prepared by locals with tasty just caught salmon trouts.
