We stayed in number 11. I'll start with the positives: - Good location, good size apartment, really nice pool, communication was acceptable. The negatives: - No blender or frying pan (we had to buy one) - Limited selection of pots, pans, ovenware, utensils cups, glasses - What kitchenware was available looked cheap - A lot of the furniture was old and needs to be replaced - Limited supply of toilet paper, tea towels, cloth's, washing powder etc - Baby cot should be thrown away, metal bars are not great for toddlers as they can get limbs stuck Trying to summarise our stay: The apartment size was good; however, little thought went into furnishing it. For the price we paid (at the upper end), the quality of furnishings, bedding, and kitchenware was below par. I'm not sure if that is the Australian way. I feel I could only leave a two star review for value of money. We are Airbnb hosts ourselves in NZ at a lower price point and what we offer our guests would be far superior. Disappointing as we were really looking forward to our stay. Hope you take this feedback on board.

Lovely secluded spot with really modern facilities, sheltered from the wind. Great pool but could be hotter, did not appear to be heated. What could have been better is if someone took the time to tell us how various things worked, it took us hours to work out how to work the lights in the apartment which are super modern and could not get the barbebue to work. You are literally left to your own devices to work it all out. Buggy was great and good way to get around the island. Sadly for us the weather was disappointing, quite overcast and windy but still temps in low twenties. Hamilton island is super expensive so be prepared to empty the wallet!
