More of a rapids than a waterfall. And there is a parking lot here also

A lot of people confuse the New River class III+ rapid as being Brooks Falls, but the .6 mile slightly inclined trail is actually located across the road in the forest. When you're coming from Hinton, before this parking lot, you can see the creek and a partial view of the falls on the leftside of the road. The parking lot is also a popular take out for local boaters.
