Majestic Sunsets at Mountains Trek Adventure, Imlil

Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

We had an amazing experience trekking Mount Toubkal and couldn’t recommend this company highly enough. Our guide, Laxen, was fantastic throughout the whole trip. It was also really special to be joined by his 13-year-old nephew, who was summiting Toubkal for the first time alongside us. Sharing that experience with him made the trek even more memorable. The scenery on the walk was stunning from start to finish, and the summit absolutely lived up to expectations with incredible panoramic views. The food was delicious throughout the trip (although be prepared to eat plenty of tagine!), and the accommodation was simple but perfectly adequate after a long day’s hiking. A big thank you as well to Abdaou, who runs the company. He organised everything brilliantly, including our accommodation in Imlil and our transfer back afterwards. Communication was excellent before and during the trip, and we were always made to feel welcome—with plenty of delicious Moroccan tea! One thing we especially appreciated was the relaxed atmosphere. Laxen got us safely to the summit, and on the way back he let us enjoy ourselves, singing, dancing, joking around, and having fun together with him and his nephew. It made the whole experience feel much more like an adventure with friends than a guided tour. Overall, an unforgettable trip with wonderful people. We’d happily recommend this company to anyone planning to climb Mount Toubkal.

I organised some day hikes through the mountains for my friends. Abdul was excellent at organising the hikes, always quick to reply with helpful answers to my questions. Whilst I didn’t go on the hikes myself, my friends said they had a great time! They mentioned that Abdul had lots of local knowledge and interesting facts, and he took them on beautiful routes. Abdul’s brother prepared lunches for the group on the mountain and they came back saying it was the best food they had in Morocco!
