Our trip to Ruaha was amazing in terms of wildlife and nature. We saw many different species of animals and birds that we had never seen before, and the park itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the accommodation and exit experience were disappointing. We stayed at the Government Camp – Cottage Self Contained, where we faced electricity problems from arrival, and some lights in the cottage were not working properly. What disappointed us most was being charged a full extra day because we arrived at the main gate around 20 minutes late. What felt unfair is that the receipt showed the exit time, but normally people focus on the amount paid and may not read all the details. It would help if the team at the gate also informed visitors clearly about the exact exit timing. Despite the incredible wildlife experience, the handling of these issues unfortunately left a negative impression on our trip.

A diverse park with plenty of water, where you can see plenty of hippos, crocodiles, and a wealth of birds. We also saw plenty of large game, definitely recommended.
