Beautiful place but the management of the park is a scam. The ticket would cost around 12 euros but when you are there they ask you for €30. After a heated discussion we arrived at 18, which is still a scam.

Beautiful park, suffers from traffic congestion on cruise ship days. Saw a good variety of chameleons large & very small. Had a lovely tour independently booked with Madagascar Meva Tours which was excellent. Picturesque waterfalls Shame about the terrible car parking (car abandonment) Enjoyed a meal at le relais hotel in joffeville on return journey to diego suarez

If you visit this park, ask for Arthinot as a guide at reception! He is an excellent French-speaking guide 👌🏼in one afternoon we will have seen many different species thanks to his knowledge, including 4 species of chameleons! And this despite an unfavorable hour. And we don’t forget the tip 😉

Superb humid forest, the paths of which are very accessible. We saw a lot of animals and flora there, thanks to our guide who was really great. Very beautiful small waterfall, viewpoint over a lake, different paths for all tastes... As a bonus, you are cool, which is very pleasant when you leave the city (very quick road to get there). Not to be missed under any circumstances.
