お天気の良い午前に伺いました。 混んでいることを覚悟して行きましたが、十組くらいの参拝者の方しかおらず、ゆっくりお参り出来ました。 工事中だったからか、国宝の本殿などが見れなかったのは残念でしたが、また日を改めて伺いたいと思います。 お参り後、御朱印を書いていただこうと社務所に行きました。権禰宜さん？と巫女さんのお二人で対応されておりましたが、応対が面倒なんだろうなといった印象でした。 普段、御朱印を書いていただいた時は自然とお礼の言葉が出ておりましたが、今回はお礼の言葉が私の中に降りて来ず、無言で御朱印を受け取ってしまい、後味の悪いお参りとなりました。 もう少し心穏やかに参拝者と接していただけるとありがたいです。

Kirishima Shrine is a place I always wanted to visit if I went to Kagoshima. If you go early in the morning, there will be fewer worshipers and you can take a walk from the Otorii gate. There is a parking lot for worshipers further up through the Otorii gate, but I parked next to the Otorii gate because I could walk to Shinkyo Bridge. Don't forget to visit Yama Shrine. I might like the atmosphere here...
