Destination is gorgeous, but our suggested route included a 6 mile unpaved road that will test your patience and your vehicle's suspension. Dry weather means you're kicking up a cloud of dust at speeds over 5mph, so plan accordingly.

Nice place to hike. Lots of trail options. We were a little early in the season and had to hike in the snow.

Nice hike to lake. A little over 4 miles from campmisery to the lake itself. We carried in packrafts to paddle around the lake and had the place to ourselves the entire day. Caught several trout while on the lake. Enjoyed the fact that no one else was here even though the parking area was beyond full.
