I love the structure of Katherine Hot Springs! There's a big pool at the top, and then a moderately deep river leads you to another small pool, another river brings you to another pool and then the final large pool. Not as warm as Mataranka hot springs, but it's not a problem because it's 40 degrees anyway! It's very accessible, plenty of parking. Gets busy after school and even on weekdays off peak. Try to get in early if you're not a fan of crowds. Beautiful and clear water. Wished I could have stayed longer!
