This is the best swimming hole I've ever been to.

So excited to see this quarry open back up and with several new amazing additions! The best, in my opinion, being the large floating dock in the middle of the water. Even when it gets very busy (and it does get pretty busy on popular days), there’s plenty of space for people to swim out and lounge on the docks or hang out on the shore. It was fun to see a mix of young families, college students, and even people with their dogs out here just enjoying nature and cooling off. They did have rentals for paddle boards and life jackets which is convenient as well. I’d say my only gripe is that there are “hours” to the outdoors. I had to leave at closing, when I would have loved to have gone on swimming. That being said, I’m sure that’s for safety reasons. Knoxville is truly lucky to have an outdoor space like this so close to downtown!

It was somehow busy but still you could enjoy the place. Nice and quiet, water was refreshing and you can rent a floating thing or a paddle board for a very affordable rate.
