We couldn't see the waterfalls because a permit was required. We were told earlier that you could buy one at the entrance, but that turned out not to be possible. We weren't allowed in. We couldn't buy a permit online or in any other way. We should have done that three days in advance at some office. We didn't know this; several people had the same problem, so it wasn't something we had missed. The people at the gate did help by directing us to another place nearby with other waterfalls where you can also swim. So make sure you arrange a permit in time if you want to go here.
