Beautiful lake, I didn't have the best weather conditions, but it must be truly stunning with the sun out

Wonderful place completely outside of civilization. I went with 18 years in 1989 from the Ctra d’Engolasters on foot along the path to the Madriu Valley, Perafita until arriving through the forest to the Estany de la Nou. Steep descent on foot to the Madriu river arriving at my house in Engolasters 8 wonderful hours. 5km more or less.
