We stayed in the lodge close to the research facility, in the conservation area. The rooms were good (2 beds) and a ceiling fan (we had a unit with no aircon - there are other units that have aircon). The power goes off at 11pm, which makes things get a bit hot, but the windows were meshed so no bugs could get in, meaning you could leave the windows open. The food area was great - lots of fresh water and the food was really good. All of this is of little concern, as you are in one of the worlds most beautiful places. So much wildlife around you and scenic views for days, including sunrise from the watch towers, swims in the river to Gibbon calls in the early morning. What an incredible adventure. You definitely need to spend a few nights here (and partake in a night walk and night drive as well!). We loved every moment (leeches and all).
