Visited in Mid October and the park is closed but still accessable. Bathrooms were closed for the winter so use the restroom before you head here during this time. Beautiful views and lots of beach space and picnic tables and benches. I can imagine that it probably gets really crowded in the summer time. Such a beautiful place!!!

Nice sites with lots of trees so even though the sites are close together, it doesn't feel too crowded (though we were here during the shoulder season so it may feel very different during the height of the summer). It's only 10 mins from stateline, right next to Nevada Beach and has a nice walking/biking trail. It was quiet at night (no road noise), had flush toilets and the camp host/reception check in person was really friendly and helpful. If you can get reservations (which are hard to get!), it's definitely worth it!

I'm a resident of North Tahoe, and this was my first time at this campground with friends who had been here before. The campsites are many, on mostly flat terrain amongst the trees and close to the beach. The beach itself has surprisingly rough sand, and besides a plethora of goose poop, is mostly featureless -- both above and under the water. The water depth increases quickly, and is about 20-25' at the buoys. We stayed 2 nights, and had a lovely time. The only negative was 2 elderly members of the staff (one female and one male, both with short white hair), who were, in separate incidents, shockingly unpleasant and unnecessarily condescending. I hope that they are both able to get therapy and learn to treat others in a kind and respectful manner.

Loved our camping here. That was awhile back in 1988. I love Lake Tahoe. Camped at Hidden Beach in 1971 for 2 weeks until the Rangers told us we couldn't camp on the beach.

The campground,beach and facilities are amazing. But the most outstanding feature this year were the camp hosts. Donna and Rick were amazing along with Charlie Stacy and Ray. It was the most well run campground ever
