Beautiful park. Lots of different flowers to photograph. The trails are a little difficult for a couple of tired old folks but we had a great time. The restrooms need more ventilation! They kind of knock the wind out of you when you walk in! Hold your breath! Lol

Awesome Texas park! My husband and I did a three day trip and had a great time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. When they saw us walking they made sure to check in and confirm we had enough water-lovely experience every time we went into HQ (had to buy my state park pin 😉) they have a fridge full of water/gatoraid/ice cream available for donations only. Campsites were beautiful and well maintained, trails were well maintained and clearly marked. So large that even with a lot of the campsites full the trails never seemed packed. Water was low so the falls were barely running and some of the springs seemed low but you can’t control Texas! 10/10 would recommend! Already planing when to bring our friends back with us!

I had never been before we went to Gorman Falls. My friend made a reservation since the park limits the number of cars per day. ( so he thought) we got there and no one was manning the entrance. We self paid and wondered why we needed to even make a reservation. The restrooms were disgusting. Other than that and the idiots who bring bags for their dog poop only to LITTER the trails with it, we had a great time we also went on a few other trails, were disappointed there were no canoes or kayaks available anymore. It is a beautiful place and I will go back. Just wondering why the upkeep wasn’t what one would expect from a state park.
