Ice Sculptures & Glacial Wonders: Ice Palace Jungfraujoch

✨ The Ice Palace is a Must-See! Marvel at stunning ice sculptures, including a snake iceberg (celebrating the Chinese Year of the Snake!). ❄️ Bundle up! It’s freezing inside—wear thermal layers, thick gloves, and sturdy shoes (the floor is slippery!).

Many ice sculptures are on display at the ice walkway set up within the Jungfraujoch tourist facility. Also on display are balls commemorating former Brazilian national football player Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima's visit to the area in 2024, frozen in ice. Many of the ice sculptures have modern designs and are a little different from classic works of art, but they are all well-made and very interesting. There are quite a lot of works on display, so you can enjoy looking at them while walking through the aisles where the walls, floor, and ceiling are solidified with ice. Handrails are provided to assist in walking, but the floor is very slippery, so you must be careful not to fall even when holding the handrails. When I visited, there were two people who slipped. Another thing to keep in mind is that you should not wear shoes with spikes on the bottom to prevent ice damage, so you should be careful about the type of shoes you wear.

Very nice place, but we went there in skis and that was a mistake, they don't let you into the ice kingdom, it's a shame they don't have covers for skiers, we paid two hundred euros and couldn't enter, take your shoes to change them! If you are a skier.
