Since its inception in 1994, this grueling 100-mile event has drawn elite and amateur cyclists from around the world who aspire to conquer the high-altitude terrain of the Colorado Rockies. With riders starting at 10,152 feet above sea level and climbing to an astonishing 12,600 feet near Columbine Mine, participants endure rough trails, legendary climbs, and demanding descents for the chance to earn the coveted Silver and Gold Belt Buckle.

Part of the Leadville 100 MTB Race Series Race. Beautiful views from the top of the mountain at roughly 12,500’. Steady climb but doable for sure in a lower gear. Goat trail towards the top gets steep and rocky, push hard!!!
