Nice location, very beautiful. Too much noise!! If it wasn't inconsiderate neighbor campers, it was an almost constant maintenance equipment.

Turned into KOA for middle aged ladies on Saturday. A lot of people stay there and go to Tanglewood concerts so crowds of people are rolling in and banging around and talking really loud at 11 o’clock at night. There’s an Electrical substation across the street that hums day and night. Other than the noise, it is a nice campground it is well maintained, the bathrooms are very clean. It’s kind of far from most of the trails October Mountain but if you’re there to hike, you can hike right from the campground. It’s just on the edge of Lee so you can also go into town for breakfast or a beer or a trip to Big Y. Or pack up and leave in the middle of the night when it’s so noisy you can’t sleep like we did! Either way works.
