Absolutely beautiful place and a great place for a hike. Avalanche Falls sits right off the highway, complete with a massive parking lot, nice big gift shop with bathrooms and plenty to see. You could fast walk it in about 20 minutes but could easily take your time and be there for 2 or 3 hours if you really want to enjoy the views. As you can see from the photos there's a good chunk of the hike over bridges in a kind of canyon. It's very cool and refreshing to be out of the sun in there for part of the walk. Totally breathtaking. The hike circles back around to the shop and parking lot so you won't get lost. Just read the skins and enjoy yourself.

Nice little hike. Lots of information posted around. We also enjoyed that many plants and trees had name tags. Also, the wolf cave was fun to climb through.

It definitely didn't disappoint. My pictures came out just as good as the real thing! You should go around noon or when the sun is high in the sky. The sun rays trickle down the mossy walls of the gorge. It's just so pretty
