Editorial Assessment

Little Corn Island offers a unique escape with its natural beauty and aquatic adventures, but it does not feature a singular iconic geological formation unique to itself. Its charm lies in the overall experience rather than a lone, defining landmark.

Little Corn Island Beach and Bungalow was one of our favourite places that we have ever visited. The fun began with an adventurous plane and panga ride; the people were friendly and the connections were easy. From the moment we stepped off the panga onto the beach to fresh juice with hibiscus flowers and Shera's welcoming smile, we felt relaxed and cared for by the friendly staff at LCIBB. The fresh water, wine and snacks in our bungalow were also much appreciated. The bungalows were amazing. They were a nice size, were kept very clean with daily service, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the open design which allowed the breeze off the Caribbean to flow through at night, and it was never too hot with the fans on - the breeze also meant that we never noticed any flying insects while at LCIBB. It was incredible to wake up to the first rays beaming onto our front porch, and be on the beach for a sunrise walk in only a few steps, and then to return from our walk each morning to fresh coffee and juice on our deck. The bathrooms were great - the showers had very low pressure, but this is to be expected on a small remote island, and we didn't find it a problem. It was helpful having the fresh foot bath outside and the foot shower with more pressure. The food at LCIBB was delicious. We were so happy that we got the RADD deal which includes 2 meals each day - we felt it was good value, and we were excited to sample all of the food and drinks on the menu. Our favourites were the fresh smoothies, the best pina coladas we've ever had, the mango margaritas, the yummy gallo pinto, the pineapple and banana pancakes, and lobster everything. Anyone who visits Little Corn Island should be sure to have a meal at the Turned Turtle restaurant. Although the island is a quiet pace, we found so much to do. We would highly recommend going snorkeling with Captain Peter, and two members of our party had an amazing experience fishing. We loved walking into the village, finding secret beaches, and just exploring the island. The fish curry at Melissa's was delicious, and the dragonfruit smoothie at Tranquilo was so yummy. It was also so nice just to relax in the beautiful setting of LCIBB - reading in the chairs or lying in a hammock with a drink, swimming, hanging out on the beach - always so well-attended by the friendly staff. The people who work at LCIBB are what really elevated our stay to the next level. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful and it was clear that they take pride in their excellent service, from the young boy who freshened the foot bath each morning, to Miss Onyx the chef, to all the servers, groundskeepers, and cleaning staff. In particular, Freddy, Cheyenne (I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I have his name correct), and Shera were exceptional. Each of these lovely young people took time to get to know us, to share their experiences and thoughts, and to have meaningful conversations with us. These people made our stay personal and special, and their friendliness created great connections and memories for our whole group. I would go back in a heartbeat - if you are thinking of a trip to Little Corn Island, go! And stay at Little Corn Island Beach and Bungalow - you will love it.

We had the best stay at LCIBB! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Their communication prior to and during our stay was excellent. They always responded promptly to any questions we had and helped arrange our panga rides with Captain Peter. We purchased the RADdeal which was completely worth it! The food and drinks at the onsite restaurant was excellent. We stayed in one of the garden master suites and we couldn't have been happier with that choice. The cabin was spotless and cleaned daily. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The best part was the screened in porch. Everything felt so private. The best part of our stay by far was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond on a daily basis to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I can't say enough good things about this place. It exceeded our expectations and we hope to say with them again!
