It is a serene and beautiful place! You descend by stairs and immediately we felt the temperature cool off. We were there on a weekday in september and we saw less than 10 other people during the time we were there. The restrooms at the start were very clean. There was a sheltered picnic area by the restrooms also. We stayed for a couple hours but all in all you can do the hike in much less time. We chose to stay a while near the falls. There are plenty of big rocks to sit on in the shade and enjoy the view!
