We drove through Magambe Forest today. Our route was 60 km long and took us through a breathtaking landscape. A primeval forest at an altitude of 2000 m – it was truly indescribable. There was a barrier at the entrance, but not a soul in sight, so we drove right through. However, at the exit, we had to pay 65,000 TS for two people and a car. The standard price. I highly recommend it.

40,000 TZ entrance fee for foreigners. The view from the peak is quite nice, but it's not worth the money. You'd be better off booking a nice hotel with a view of the mountains; that's more worthwhile than the hike.
