Impressive turtle sightings. Came here at night to witness the giant turtles coming to the beach digging their nesting places. Even saw the tiny cute hatchlings crawling to the ocean. Expect to pay ca. 10€ to the local guide.

A beautiful place at the end of the village with a beautiful view of the sea. Nice accommodation with breakfast and dinner. Very pleasant and helpful people. A short distance from the accommodation is turtle beach where you will see the huge Karety, beautiful nature, lots of greenery, bananas, mangoes and big baobabs.

We came to the beach at night with a guide to meet the turtles. Right away, the first turtle started laying eggs, as if on order, and the guide allowed us to watch and film the unique experience ;-) Subsequently, we watched how the huge turtle buried its 40 or so eggs in the sand to protect them. In total, we saw about 6 turtles that night coming out of the sea and puffing away :-) I highly recommend doing this turtle trip!
