We went as a day trip today and it was an overall great experience. It was still winter so the crowds were non existent. The only downfall of going this time was the outdoor amenities and sops were closed. They have picnic areas and playgrounds for the kids. The gift shop was large and full of unique finds. We did the drip tour with Maddie which was a fun and educational time, Tour was about 1 hour and showed the diversity of the grounds underneath. The cave was much warmer than the outside temp about 50s with the outside being 30s. We did the drip tour and our 4.5 year old really enjoyed the trip. I would recommend going in the summer when there is more to do outside but am sure the crowds will be larger.

Very family friendly - they had a chair in the family restroom for nursing/pumping moms, which was great! Everyone we spoke with was very kind and the tour was fantastic. The tour was very engaging for the kids.
